Well we finally have made it from the East (Ko Samui) right the way across Thailand to Rai Leh on the West coast…and it feels like Thailand is a lot wider than it looks on a map!
After a 6am start from Ko Samui we then went on a minibus, coach, boat, back on a coach, another bus, walked for a bit, a taxi (well, pick-up truck) a longtail boat and finally another walk!
At times we felt like giving up (one of Annie's flip-flops actually did and is now retired in Krabi) plus Graeme fell into the taxi and cut his leg. Thankfully however our destination of Rai Leh seems great so it's all been worth it…things are always better after a cold beer aren't they?
