Thankfully today has seen our last bus trip in Malaysia and ahead lies only a train to Singapore before we fly to Australia. We know we should probably be grateful for the bus network that makes travelling so easy around Asia but in Malaysia we seem to have had all the bad luck - packed mini-buses with our bags on our knees for 5 hrs, the bus that was supposed to arrive at 3pm but eventually got there at 7pm, the 2hr journey that stopped about every 100 yards to let people on and off and culminating in the bus that online said it left at 11am that actually didn't exist...and then the 5pm one was fully booked!! Thank goodness taxi's aren't that expensive!
