The ultimate pleasure…

Thailand is quite clearly a country in which one can enjoy some of life's great pleasures. From watching the sun set over white sandy beaches, to trekking on elephants through the jungle, swimming in sea water as warm as a bath and eating endless delicious bowls of delicately flavoured green curry. But we've found another great pleasure…scratching these bloody mosquito bites!!

We're now having a few days R&R (important to take a holiday from a holiday!) on the island of Ko Samui. Despite the thunderstorms, it's still blissful and the discovery of DVDs for £1 passes the time when it's too wet to sunbathe.

Two Thai islands down and another two to go as we venture south-west to Koh Phi Phi and Phuket before KL for Easter.
